Sorry for this but I have to post a quick rant. Is it me or is it appallingly poor judgment for them to divert emergency resources (including generators) as well as emergency personnel (police) just so they won't have to postpone the NYC Marathon? I understand the symbolism but for the love of sanity and common sense postpone the damn race and stay focused on helping those in need right now.
