As Facebook vs Google Heats Up, Here are the Starting Lineups | Soshable | Social Media Blog

Perhaps it’s the sports fan in me that simply won’t go away that made me look at this infographic and compare it to a starting lineup in baseball. I no longer watch baseball, but as an avid former fan (I lost interest after the strike in 1994, if you would like to to put a date to it), I can appreciate the importance of having the right players in the right position and coming to bat in the proper order.
Facebook and Google have been on a collision course ever since the social network started muscling on the search giant’s eyeball turf, followed by Google pushing forward into social networking. The clash is of titanic proportions. There will likely be some blood shed before the end of the day.
